What is Spanish Immersion at FHCA?

Our Spanish Immersion program provides students with the opportunity to learn academic subjects in Spanish while growing in faith, character, and confidence. Children acquire the language naturally through listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a supportive, Christ-centered environment. This approach allows students to become truly bilingual while receiving a strong classical and biblical education.

What Does This Look Like in the Classroom?

In our immersion classrooms, students learn math, reading, science, and Bible through the Spanish language using songs, stories, conversation, and hands-on activities. Teachers speak primarily in Spanish, creating a rich language environment where children learn the same way they learned their first language — through meaningful, daily interaction. English literacy is also carefully developed to ensure strong skills in both languages.

Faith at the Heart of Language Learning

At Faith Heritage Christian, language is viewed as a gift from God. Biblical truth, prayer, and worship are woven throughout the day in both English and Spanish. Students grow not only in academic knowledge, but in character, compassion, and a Christ-centered worldview, learning to use language as a tool to love, serve, and understand others.

Is Spanish Immersion Right for My Child?

No prior Spanish experience is required. Our program is designed for beginners and native speakers alike. Teachers are trained to support children at every level, helping each student feel confident, encouraged, and successful as they grow in language and learning.
